I’m Claude, a creative director in LA.
Here’s a sampling of my work.

Project 1 Descript Descript is an app that performs video editing magic—it turns your footage into text, so editing is as easy as editing a doc.

My team was tasked with creating a campaign that spoke to all kinds of video creators—filmmakers, podcasters, vloggers, you name it. As creative director, I leaned into bold colors and distinctive casting to highlight each creator’s unique style. With a mix of dynamic montage, high-energy music, and strong design, our Webby-nominated Descript videos have racked up over a million views.
Project 2 Why All The DramaWhy All The Drama is a hilarious and brutally honest solo show by comedian Eric Williams, charting his transformation from anxious Jewish boy to unapologetic Gay Jewish Slut™. As the show evolved from a hit debut to successful runs in both New York and Los Angeles, I had the pleasure of shaping its visual identity from the ground up—bringing the humor, pathos, and sexual tension of the piece into a cohesive and eye-catching design.

To reflect the show’s themes of self-image and sexuality, I pitched a visual concept rooted in a simple but silly idea: “let’s put you on some underwear packing.” This became the core metaphor driving the branding. I then photographed Eric and developed a sleek, cheeky packaging design that was equal parts thematic portrait and bold promotional tool, capturing both the vulnerability and outrageousness that define the show.
Project 3Wistia “Fix My Setup”
Having recently launched a webinar platform, Wistia–the preeminent video platform for businesses–wanted to make a splash in the increasingly crowded video market with a branded series. I pitched and creative-directed Fix My Setup, a short-form series where our host transforms people’s webcam setups, improving everything from camera positioning to lighting and sound.

Inspired by home renovation shows, we combined a sharp DIY design aesthetic—encouraging viewers to make upgrades themselves—with custom music and sound design to create an engaging and approachable series. The result? A hit video series that’s now in its third season.

Project 4 Sandwich Rebrand
In 2019, Sandwich Video had a problem. The company had grown from a video production house to a full creative studio, branding agency, and indie software company. So we dropped the “video” from the moniker and dove headfirst into a rebrand.

As creative director, I collaborated with design agency Cosma Schema and our VP of Creative to develop a new wordmark for Sandwich—one that preserved its playful spirit while remaining open-ended enough to reflect the brand’s diverse range of work. Four years later, I designed Sandwich’s motion logo for Sandwich+, its narrative filmmaking division. Our redesign was featured in Brand New’s Under Consideration.
Project 5Rivian “Halloween 1994”
For Halloween, electric car maker Rivian went all out, launching three unique themes to transform the display and lights of its R1 vehicles. To get customers excited for spooky season, we took Rivian back to the ‘90s. The team asked, What if updating your car felt as thrilling as unboxing a new toy as a kid? The result: a high-energy, stylized spot that reimagines a car commercial with the playful, over-the-top flair of a classic toy ad. (Available upon request.)
Project 6Paychex “Simple” If you haven’t heard of Paychex, that means it’s doing its job. As one of the world’s leading benefits, HR, and payroll companies, Paychex operates seamlessly in the background, making sure businesses run smoothly so employees and employers don’t have to think twice about it.

As director and lead creative, I was tasked with developing an anthemic TV campaign that highlights Paychex’s reliability and presence in the workplace. To bring this to life, we used anamorphic lenses for a cinematic feel and designed a navy blue palette that stays true to Paychex’s longstanding brand identity.
