Project 2 Why All The DramaWhy All The Drama is a hilarious and brutally honest solo show by comedian Eric Williams, charting his transformation from anxious Jewish boy to unapologetic Gay Jewish Slut™. As the show evolved from a hit debut to successful runs in both New York and Los Angeles, I had the pleasure of shaping its visual identity from the ground up—bringing the humor, pathos, and sexual tension of the piece into a cohesive and eye-catching design.

To reflect the show’s themes of self-image and sexuality, I pitched a visual concept rooted in a simple but silly idea: “let’s put you on some underwear packing.” This became the core metaphor driving the branding. I then photographed Eric and developed a sleek, cheeky packaging design that was equal parts thematic portrait and bold promotional tool, capturing both the vulnerability and outrageousness that define the show.
